Banjo Loves : Le Minor, France$BlogItemTitle$>
Friday, 27 January 2012

Another week and another 'Banjo Loves' addition, this time we are lusting over these divine silk scarves which come straight from the French Label 'Le Minor', which began in 1936 by Madame Le Minor, and is still run by the family to this day - using its traditional roots to inspire regional artists today.
1948: The first Le Minor silk scarf was introduced. This was the Penmarc’h model (at left), designed by Pierre Toulhoat. The experiment was an immediate hit, and many more equally successful designs have followed and remain available to this day, designed by well-known artists such as André Bouler, Louis Bouligand, René-Yves Creston, Jean Fournier, Pierre Péron, Pierre Toulhoat, and Dominique Villard.
Made in Pont-l'Abbe in provincial France, each scarf is hand-printed with exclusive prints inspired and designed by various local artists and made of exquisite silk, lovingly hand-stitched with rolled hems in the traditional manner.
To die for!
Shop them on the Banjo & Matilda website here xx
The silk scarf is a wardrobe staple with endless possibilities, we are loving:
