Wether we are dressing up and heading to a champagne breakfast with our nearest and dearest, spending the day by the beach, or simply mooching in the hammock with a coconut water and a good book - Australia Day is all about just being Australian.
With sweltering heat and a long weekend on our door step, we probably won't be caught doing anything other than wandering Bondi Beach, paddling around the pool or eating an ice cream... or two.

The compulsory BBQ is not usually one of glamour and style, yet we choose to make it one by combining bright oranges and whites (hello, holiday vibe!) - and choosing light fabrics such as our new linen to avoid any unwanted personal over-heating. Maxi skirts and oversized chiffon shirts also make great partners to the Palm Tee - and also adding a little extra sense of luxe.

If you're heading to the beach, apart from packing the sunscreen - there are a few MUSTS if you chose to conquer the families, beach balls and bikinis. Packing a long sleeved (but light weight) top that if not used by yourself - will be by someone else who might have forgotten to pack their sunscreen...
A hat and a cool pair of shades will also keep you sane in the sun's strong rays, and make sure you in true blue Aussie fashion - slip, slop, slap. For our international readers, we promise that is a completely un-sexual term that may be misunderstood...
